Only an outdoor staircase separates you from Lake Thun — perfect for a spontaneous cool-down or a walk by the water.

Access

Guests have exclusive access to the apartment on the top floor directly from the main entrance. The other areas of the property are private and are used by the residents who live there permanently. We therefore ask for consideration and to respect everyone’s privacy by staying exclusively in the area of our apartment.

Arrival & Surroundings

The surroundings can be wonderfully explored on foot or by public transport. A bus stop with connections towards Thun, Sigriswil and Interlaken is reachable within a few minutes.

If you prefer to travel by car, you benefit from your own parking space directly in front of the house. The boat landing stage in Gunten is also very close — ideal for a relaxed trip on Lake Thun.

Whether by foot, bus or boat: the location of the apartment offers you a variety of ways to discover the beauty of the Bernese Oberland without stress. Within a few minutes on foot you can reach the lake shore, the boat landing stage or cosy bathing spots.

Bus stops with connections to Thun and Interlaken are also nearby. Gunten offers a perfect mix of tranquillity, lake views and good accessibility.

Good to Know

So that you are well prepared and feel comfortable from the very beginning, here are a few practical notes about the apartment:

A washing machine and dryer are not available. From June to September, air conditioning provides pleasant cooling and extra comfort.
Unfortunately, luggage storage before check-in or after check-out is not possible.
A respectful coexistence is important to us – please follow the house rules so that everyone can feel comfortable.
